Now, no where in Genesis do I recall that these monsters ever roamed around with Adam and Eve. But it is obvious they were here. You do not have to see the bird to know that it pooped on the top of your head nor do you have to see a million dollars to know that exists. It just is.
I do not believe in the Big Bang Theory, I do not believe we came from wanna be upright or half bent over monkey humanoids. But I think their kind may have still existed in some small way when Adam & Eve came on board.
I have read in the Bible about a Leviathan. Most people have who read the NIV. And what about Noah and the animals? It would have been nice to have gotten a list of all creatures that boarded his giant vessel. Was the Lock Ness monster a dinosaur and was left in the Great Flood to relocate in the Scottish Isles? Who knows. And there is no mention of Big Foot either.
The Behemoth is can honestly say that I do not recall (no I am not related to Ronald Regan) reading of it in Job. I will, however look into that tonight.
I read articles all the time on different theories. Here is mine:
God said,"OK, lets start out with these little critters and see what happens." POOF A small ugly creature that resembles a mouse comes into view, only he had an armour plate like an armadillo. "Hum? Lets' get bigger."POOF in comes rhinoceros like looking animals with big teeth for tearing into whatever. Then bigger and bigger they got until he said," I don't like these things." Kind of like drawing on a black board then erasing things out to start over again. How HE did it is a hot topic too; anything from a meteor casting darkness over the earth to another flood or continental drifts that separated the land. As a Christan, What are we to believe?
Did the knights of Mid-evil times long ago really slay Puff The Magic Dragon?
Did the sailors really see giant serpents and sirens/mermaids?
And what about the fabled unicorn that little girls cherish?
I think that possibly God was sketching, erased the slate to start anew with Adam and Eve, and up till Noah's time, HE erased again, HE is sketching now but I do believe HE is ready to put the chalk down and erase again.
