Watching The Mountain

I am interested in astronomy and was link surfing to find this nice picture while looking for a space view of volcanic activity here on planet Earth. I was specifically looking for the islands developing underwater in the Hawaiian waters when I ran into this Alaskan Volcano that had a minimal eruption in May 2007
